Mama Swag Monday | Mama & Little

I am so excited to introduce a new blog series: “Mama Swag Monday.” I have been given the opportunity to collaborate with some incredible companies who put out amazing products, and I want to share them with you all!

I never planned on breastfeeding the twins exclusively, but my little Jett has no intention of taking a bottle any longer. We gave up all bottle feedings about a month ago. As time-consuming as nursing twins full-time is, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. With the help of my sweet hubby, he snapped a few photos of Jax & I wearing this darling silicone teething and nursing jewelry from Mama & Little. These have become a new favorite around here. The boys love to hold onto my necklaces as we nurse, and are just beginning to use them as their little teeth begin to come in. I wish I had had something like this when Maddie was a baby! She would have loved this!

What I love about this company is the Mama behind Mama & Little. Here is a little bit about Arleene:
The Mama & Little story starts with a mama (Arleene, that’s me!) who was always looking for her next creative outlet and had a dream of running a small business from home. As a first time mama of a darling little boy (that’s Archer) who was already grabbing at my necklace at just 3 months old and started teething at 4 months old, I thought I’d have to give up all accessories in order to keep him safe from putting anything potentially harmful in his mouth. And keep my favorite pieces from being damaged by his strong little grip.

So I went on the search for the perfect baby-friendly jewelry. I pictured something cute that I’d want to wear whether or not I had my little on my hip and affordable, of course, that also came in pretty colors that I could mix-and-match. My discovery? Silicone beads. They were perfect! Colorful, firm-yet-flexible, ideal for chewing. They’re even anti-microbial and easy to clean, totally little-proof and safe. Unfortunately, most of the available styles weren’t what I liked, I didn’t like the color options and wow, were they expensive! I was determined to find a solution or create one.

Inspired by my recent dabbling in jewelry design I started visualizing pieces in my jewelry collection as teething jewelry. That way I’d have the best of both worlds! Suddenly, my creative juices were flowing and I pictured custom colors, sketched some unique designs- I had started designing my own teething jewelry! Mama & Little was born. With the help and support of my awesome husband we were up and running. We’re a fresh, modern approach to teething jewelry offering colors that are on-trend and with styles and pricing perfect for the hip mama!

What sets us apart besides our unique styles and colors is the quality of our product and practicality of our designs. Each piece is handmade, tested for safety and quality (read more about our safety here.) We’ve done our research and realized that the number one bummer about most silicone beaded teething jewelry is that they tend to tangle and pull hair. Ouch. You’ll notice our necklaces are designed with an exposed cord along the neck. No beads there means no hair pulling, hooray! We hope you and your little enjoy our jewelry, our goal is to make the teething stage as bearable as possible for both Mama & Little.

Here’s why you can trust this company:
