I’m so excited to show you the new Save the Date designs that are now a part of your engagement session experience! This weekend, I will be showcasing my work at the Brookside Gardens Bridal Show, and I am really looking forward to it. Part of the fun of the show is the prizes and giveaways. My giveaway? An engagement session + a Save the Date design of your choice! I can’t wait to see who wins! There will be tons of other vendors showcasing their work, their art, their food, and their design. Heck! I’d show up even though I’ve been married for 6+ years! If you are a bride, a fiancee, a friend of someone you know who is getting married, come down and hang out with us. You can’t miss our booth! BOHO overload! If you know anyone who is getting married, send them over to Brookside.
I got a Facebook message from someone I went to school with in California. We’ve known each other for a long time, but I was surprised when, shortly after, she told me about her son’s birthday, & then asked me to be the one to take his one year photos and their family photos. I’m all too happy to photograph a baby smashing cake all over his chubby little cheeks. But, like most babies I have photographed, Easton was not interested in a delectable cupcake from Gigi’s Cupcakes. Not interested turned out to be an understatement: he gagged when I put a little frosting in his mouth. Kid is nuts!
We hiked up on top of Jackass Hill Park in Littleton to a picturesque Colorado landscape. Rolling hills with tall grasses, mountains, a lake running through the valley below, and a beautiful Colorado sunset. This is my favorite time of year! Thank you Megan for allowing me the opportunity to photography your little family. Happy 1st Birthday, Easton!
My dear friend has 2 brothers. One brother lives here, the other brother lives on the East Coast. When her oldest brother decided to take a trip out here to see his family, my dear friend jumped on the chance to get family photos of the whole crew together. It’s important, and she recognized it. Perhaps she was moved by #1 on my 10 Photos You Need to be Taking blog post. The last place my sister and I got a picture together was at a funeral. Not ideal. A park filled with tall grasses, old buildings, a barn, a beautiful pond, and some red rocks is what I would call ideal. With 4 little girls in tow, impending rain (we had no idea that a monsoon was about to hit & sink our little state), & just an hour to get our session in, we ventured out to Sandstone Ranch Park in Longmont, & started snapping. And happened to catch one of my favorite group outtake photos of all time!
